Photography has been my lifelong passion. For the past 15 years I have traveled the globe creating extraordinary images. I have photographed kings and presidents, the Pope, rock stars, athletes and celebrities as well known as Madonna, Oprah and Tom Cruise. My images have graced the pages of virtually every major publication in the world including Newsweek, LIFE, Paris Match, People, Fortune, Esquire, Vogue, GQ, the Lonely Planet Guides, The New York Times, and Playboy. My pictures have also made it to television on MTV, E, the Entertainment Channel, A & E and Larry King Live. And, one of my images was chosen by Time Magazine for the cover of its millennium issue. Governments and companies have also used my photographs. The Peoples Republic of China, for example, used one of my images of Tiananmen Square in Beijing to promote its Olympic bid. Baccardi paid nearly $20,000 for the rights to use another of my images and, recently, The Bank of New York paid almost $10,000 each for the rights to two of my images. Other corporations that have purchased rights to my photographs include Hasbro (the images ended up on a billboard in Times Square), Microsoft, Dell Computers, Bell South and E-trade. My work, as part of a larger show, has hung at the Smithsonian in Washington DC, the International Center of Photography in New York City and at a host of other universities, libraries and galleries across the USA. Finally, as part of a group, I was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for the photographs I took in New York City on 9/11.
